Step 1: Aadhar update portal
Please visit UIDAIs update portal.
Feed your Aadhar number and text confirmation code in the box.
Click on the Send One Time Password button.
Step 2: OTP
Please insert OTP in the box and click on the Login button.
Step 3: Mark name from the choices
Mark the Name alternative from the list and click on the Submit button.
Step 4: Insert your new name
Insert your new name in the provided box.
Please upload a government evidence of your new name.
Press the submit button.
When you click on submit button, then you will get an URN number to check the progress.
Information Needed for E- Aadhaar Card Download
Before understanding the step by step process, you must find out the needs
1. Enrollment Number or Aadhaar Numbe
If you find out the Aadhaar number, then well and good enough, but if not you can give your enrollment number that is provided in the enrollment slip. If misplaced, the enrollment number can be improved online.
2. Listed Mobile Numbe
Your listed mobile number should be available at the time of download as a One Time Password will be delivered.
If the above described information is all set, you can go on to download Aadhaar card.
Download Aadhaar Card(E-aadhaar) Online
Primarily, you need to go through the Official E-aadhaar Card website
In the initial step, you require inserting either your Enrollment number or Aadhaar Numbe
After that give your Name, Mobile Number, PIN Code, and Security Code (characters and letters provided in the image)
Once inserted, check the details and then Click on Get OTP
Clicking on it will deliver the OTP on your listed mobile phone number. The SMS is generally sent right away.
Once the OTP is obtained in your mobile number, you should insert it in the space provided equivalent to the enter OTP segment
Now, you should press the button Confirm and Download
The OTP inserted by you will be verified and the PDF file of your E-aadhaar card or Aadhaar card letter will be downloaded on your PC.

After the PDF file gets downloaded, ensure you have PDF reader such as Adobe Reader set up on your system to check the details
Now, double click the file. You will find that it needs a password to see it.
After inserting the password, you can go through your Aadhaar Card. It is totally applicable as unique. You must necessarily take a print out of the downloaded Aadhaar card.
